OUR STORY

After years of world-schooling and traveling the world, the mother-daughter team of The KITS Foundation gained an intense desire to give back to the local communities in which they lived and visited.  As members of global communities, we felt a shared responsibility for helping and caring for our neighbors who often lived in vulnerable conditions. Starting off little by little, the KITS founders rebuilt soccer fields in Thailand, organized donations of water filters in remote villages and provided fresh daily meals for families living on landfills in Indonesia.  But that didn't seem like enough, with the determination to do more and the international contacts to reach many more people, The KITS Foundation was created.  Today we provide children, their families and local organizations in the most under-resourced neighborhoods with prepackaged humanitarian KITS.  Each KIT is specifically designed to meet the various needs of each family,  community or local organization.
